We went to Sturup Raceway 27 & 28 May.

It's a small track in the southern of Sweden.

It was just a traning session, but there were a Heat in the middle of the way, where then Brian started in front and Kaj on 3.rd place. Brian was leading the first 2 laps, with 2 Hillman Imp's chasing him and then Kaj on 4.th. On the 2. nd lap down the small straight the throttle suddenly stayed down. It' wouldn't let go of the floor, because a small bolt the we had placed on the floor, under the throttle pedal, to prevent the throttle pedal damaging the carburetor or the cable, because the throttle are full open when the pedal in 3 cm from the floor, had stuck the throttle pedal in bottom of the car. I managed to turn off the main switch on the car and pull into the side of the track. Then I used my foot to pouch the pedal sideways and managed to get it loose. The I started the engine again and got out on the track again. I've lost 3 place and was down on 4.th. In the first corner I passed Kaj's Honda S800 and the I battled a couple of laps with on of the Imp's before I managed to get past him. I started to closing on the leader, but after a while I could see the it wasn't possible to catch him. So I only got a 2.nd place and Kaj a 4.th. Too bad I had won the race if the throttle wasn't stuck.
